UPDOGG started with one problem: a leather tool belt. Heavy, hot, and always dragging at your waist by mid-afternoon. After two decades framing, fixing, and building, our founder had had enough of carrying dead weight just to keep his tools close.

So he built the fix himself — shorts with zip-off pockets that work as a full tool belt. Zip the pockets on when you're working, zip them off the second you don't need them. No belt. No dead weight. Just the gear you need, exactly where you need it.

Built with your body in mind

A loaded tool belt rarely sits even. Most tradies carry more weight on one side than the other — a hammer here, a driver there — and over a long day, that uneven load adds up. It pulls at your hips and puts extra strain on your lower back, shift after shift, year after year.

We designed UPDOGG around that everyday reality. The zip-off pockets let you carry only what you actually need for the task in front of you, positioned where it makes sense for your body, instead of a full belt's worth of gear thrown on one hip out of habit. It's a small change in how you carry your tools, built around what tradies across every trade actually reach for, day in and day out.

Built for the job, not just to look the part

Every UPDOGG short is made with four-way stretch fabric (93% Polyamide / 7% Elastane, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified) so you've got full freedom of movement, whether you're kneeling, climbing, or reaching overhead. The zip-off pockets themselves are built from Cordura fabric, tough enough to carry real tools through a real work day. Every seam on the leg and crotch is double or triple stitched, because job-site gear has to survive job sites.

This isn't workwear designed in an office. It's workwear designed by someone who's worn out enough tool belts to know exactly what needed to change.
